Members of YGL are a select group of engaged, successful, and influential young alumni who have demonstrated the potential for continuing leadership both in their careers and in service to the university. YGL membership reflects cultural and geographic diversity and, as a result, draws its members from around the globe.
A Global Network of Innovators, Entrepreneurs, and Leaders
The YGL are among a select group of the 250,000 alumni who most represent the international reach of our beloved Huntington Ave campus. Living nomadic across countries big and small, the Young Global Leaders are charged with the unique responsibility of fostering Northeastern’s connections around the globe. They are the President’s go-to representatives of our home countries – sharing our perspectives, supporting strategic initiatives, and hosting VIP gatherings.
This year, the YGL endeavors to further strengthen regional networks, mentor students, host industry focused business exchanges, and fund high-value initiatives through our combined philanthropy in the YGL Impact Fund.
In advancing the international scope of the university, the Northeastern University Young Global Leaders will support all active members to ensure professional–and personal–growth through various development opportunities.

NU YGL provides an environment for fostering personal and professional relationships with young alumni and peers who have established successful careers across the globe.
Annual Conference
The Annual NU YGL conference serves as a platform for lifelong and shared learning through professional workshops and social interactions with fellow members, and influential business and university leaders.
