Welcome full-time undergraduate students enrolled on the Boston campus for the first time in Spring 2025. The Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs is here to support you in this next chapter of your Northeastern experience. Husky 101 Boston Orientation and Welcome Week will acclimate you to campus and provide you with resources and tools for a successful transition.

January 2025 Boston Arrival Timeline
Move-in and Housing
Students will be assigned a move-in date of either Friday, January 3, or Saturday, January 4.
Housing assignments and move-in dates will be sent to students. In that same communication, you’ll receive information on how to request a move-in date change if needed. Questions? Email housing@northeastern.edu
If possible, students should not book travel until they receive their official move-in date.
Husky 101 Boston Orientation
MANDATORY FOR STUDENTS. Family participation is optional and highly encouraged.
Program Dates
Students will attend Husky 101 Boston Orientation the day following their assigned move-in date. The optional family program will follow the same sequence. Pre-registration is not required.
If assigned Friday, January 3 Move-in:

7:30 – 8:15 a.m. in the Curry Student Center West Addition, Lower LevelStudent Check-In: Bring your Husky Card for attendance verification!
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in the Curry Student Center West Addition, Lower LevelStudents and families are programmed separately.
Families are programmed in the morning, and students are programmed in the afternoon.

On January 4 and January 5, complimentary day (only) parking is available to Orientation guests in the Northeastern 795 Columbus Avenue Parking Garage.
Families, when making your departure arrangements, please know that time with your student becomes very limited once Orientation and Welcome Week programming begins.
Husky 101 Boston Course
MANDATORY FOR STUDENTS. Family participation is optional and highly encouraged.
In addition to the mandatory on-campus Orientation, Boston students are also required to complete a 1-hour online module by Sunday, January 5, 2025. This module will provide students and families with essential resources to navigate our Boston campus and your new city!
