To begin the new school year, University Scholars, joined by the Faculty Fellows and myself, enjoyed our Second Annual Scholars Clambake. This year, we visited Georges Island, the site of a decommissioned Civil War Army fortification. We enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise out to the island, some time for games, and a delicious traditional clambake. It was a wonderful way for us to get to know one another and reflect upon the types of relationships with the City of Boston we hope to forge in the years to come, as individuals and as a program.
