Spring Housing

When you transition to Boston in the spring semester, you will be required to live in university housing during the remainder of your first year and the entirety of your second year, with space guaranteed for this period.

During the fall semester you will be prompted to fill out a housing application online. Once submitted, Northeastern’s Office of Housing and Residential Life does their best to place you in housing options according to your preferences. Please note, the housing assignments offered vary year to year and are at the discretion of the Housing and Residential Life Office. You will receive your housing assignment by email on a rolling basis. You will move into your housing assignment prior to the start of orientation in early January. Specific dates are provided by Office of Housing and Residential Life each year. You will receive an email from the University Housing office with your assigned move-in time on move-in day.
