NU faculty receive NSF Innovations in Graduate Education Award
Northeastern University faculty Srinivas Sridhar, Anne L. van de Ven and Thomas Webster, have just been awarded a $496,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to establish a Nanomedicine Academy that spans 5 institutions including Northeastern University, Morgan State University, Tuskegee University, Florida International University, and University of Puerto Rico Mayaguez. This newest program leverages Northeastern’s expertise in nanomedicine education and long-distance learning to create an interactive knowledge-sharing framework that empowers low-resource institutions to offer cutting-edge courses in Nanomedicine. The first of 5 new nanomedicine courses kicked-off this September with students enrolled all 5 partnering institutions.
