Biography
Luis grew up in Islip Terrace, NY a town on Long Island. Luis has a BS in Human Physiology from Boston Univerisity and an MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University. Prior to joining the PhD program, Luis worked at 2 pharmaceutical / biotech companies while doing his masters part time. He joined Dr. Amiji’s lab in June of 2006 and subsequently joined IGERT in the fall of 2006. Luis has 3 patent applications in the drug delivery field.
