The IGERT Nanomedicine Program was proud to recruit at the Annual Massachusetts Consortium of S.T.E.M Programs, in conjuction with Northeast Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, GEM Grad Lab – Getting Ready for Advanced Degrees Laboratory.
The event is designed to inform and motivate students from underrepresented groups in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields to understand the importance of a graduate degree. Students learn how to successfully apply to graduate school and find funding opportunities.
The IGERT Nanomedicine Program actively participates in STEM events such as the GEM Grad Lab with hopes to recruit STEM graduate students considering pursuing a PhD.
