Join us as Melissa Alvarez Mangual, EdD’19, summarizes her research findings examining how nonprofit executive women of color experienced their identity with stakeholders and in decision making.  We’ll discuss the recommendations of nonprofit executive women of color for those interested in breaking into the C-suite, as well as the implications for action for individuals and organizations in the nonprofit sector.

Melissa has spent the past 20 years balancing service and a career focused on building the capacity of people and organizations to deliver on organizational strategy and mission, improving programs, processes, and systems. Most of her work has been with large global non-profit organizations and institutions of higher education. Melissa recently completed her doctorate in Organizational Leadership Studies at Northeastern while working full-time for The Nature Conservancy as a Senior Manager of Learning. Register here.
