Students, faculty and staff will have an opportunity to meet with the Institute’s Scholar-in-Residence as she talks about her experiences as a both a researcher and educator, as well as her latest book project on social class and Caribbean ethnic identity.
Brown Bag Speaker Series are free and open to students, faculty and staff. The series offers informal talks by affiliated faculty members and guest speakers with discussion. The goal of the Brown Bag Speaker Series is to support students’ connection to and establish relationships with the Institute’s Scholar-in-Residence, affiliated faculty and staff in an effort to promote collaborative learning and conversation, cross-discipline research and teaching, and provide mentorship opportunities.
