  • A.W. Chesterton Company Inc.– offers  sealing  solutions  for  rotating,  stationary,  and  fluid  power equipment.  It  offers  rotating  equipment  solutions,  such  as mechanical  seals,  pump  packing, bearing/gearbox  seals,  gasket  and  joint  seals,  and  plant  productivity  programs;  stationary equipment  solutions,  which  include  valve  stem  packing,  flange  gasket  sealing,  heat exchanger sealing,  bonnet  seals,  and  fluid  power  equipment  solutions,  such  as  hydraulic seals,  pneumatic seals,  sealing  repair  kits,  spring-energized  seals,  and  speedseal  centers.   • Cactus Materials, Inc.– A tech company focusing on state-of-the-art research, development and innovation solutions for both equipment and materials in the area of electronic materials, Heterogenous Wafer Bonding (GaAs/Si), High Precision Cleaning Equipment, high performance thin films and adhesives for the semiconductor industry, advanced ceramic heaters, and technical ceramic components for multiple industries.

  • CRRC Institute– a  Chinese  publicly  traded  rolling  stock  manufacturer.  As  of  2016  it  had 183,061  employees,  and  is  the  largest  rolling  stock  manufacturer  in  the  world  with a revenue  of  $34  billion.  Located  in  Haidian  District,  Beijing, China.

  • CSEM (Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology)– a  Swiss  research  and development  center  (public-private  partnership)  specializing  in microtechnology, nanotechnology,  microelectronics,  and  system  engineering,  photovoltaics  and communications  technologies.  The  headquarters  is  in  Neuchâtel.  CSEM  also  has  centers in Muttenz,  Zürich,  Alpnach  and  Landquart  in  Switzerland (www.csem.ch).

  • DIC Corp.- is  interested  in  investing  to  develop  high-end  electronics  printers for  flexible  electronics  that  will  utilize  their  ink  products.  We  are  working  with  them  on flexible  thin  film  transistors  (TFT)  that  use  silver  ink  and  organic  semiconductors.

  • Draper Labs– an American not-for-profit research and development organization, headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts; focusing on the design, development, and deployment of advanced technology solutions to problems in national security, space exploration, health care and energy. Draper provides engineering services directly to government, industry, and academia; work on teams as prime contractor or subcontractor; and participate as a collaborator in consortia. They extend unbiased assessments of technology or systems designed or recommended by other organizations — custom designed, as well as commercial-off-the-shelf.

  • Flex Corp. (Formerly Flextronics)- Flex has  built  boards  for  our  sensors  with  sensor  reading  electronics  and  wireless  communications  for  testing  our  lactate  and  glucose  sensors.  Flex  is  interested in marketing  our  sensors  to  their  customers  that  use  Flex  to make  wearables  such  as  Fitbit. Flex revenues  are  over  $24  billion  in  2017. www.flex.com. We  are  continuing  to  work  with the  Flex  Innovation  Group  on  wireless  wearable  sensors. We have  tested  sweat-based wireless  and  wearable  lactate  sensors  for  fitness  on  human  subjects where  we  provide  the sensors  and  Flex  provides  the  wireless  electronics  and  microfluidics.

  • General Electric (GE)– an American multinational conglomerate incorporated in New York and headquartered in Boston. As of 2018, the company operates through the following segments: aviation, healthcare, power, renewable energy, digital, additive manufacturing, venture capital and finance, lighting, transportation, and oil and gas. In 2017, GE ranked among the Fortune 500 as the 13th-largest firm in the U.S. by gross revenue.

  • GlaxoSmithKline, Inc.– a research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare company that discovers and develops medicines, vaccines, and consumer healthcare products to customers in Canada and internationally. The company offers medicines to treat a range of acute and chronic diseases, which include respiratory diseases and HIV, as well as off-patent products, generics products, and other local products.

  • HSBC VC– HSBC  Venture  Capital  is  the  corporate  venture  arm  of  HSBC.  It  invests  in  tech  start-ups with  the  goal of  improving  the  bank’s  financial  state.  It  connects  companies  and  HSBC’s global  network  of  bankers, technology  investment,  and  strategic  leadership.  The  group provides  access  to  HSBC’s  unrivaled global  network  and  broad  capabilities  to  start-ups.   • Infratab Corp.– makes  and  sells  smart  sensors  designed  to  monitor food freshness,  location, environmental  conditions,  that  manages  sensor  data;  cloud  databases that  store  this  data;  and most  importantly,  analytics  that  map,  aggregate  and  curate data  for  condition  and  freshness-based  business  decisions.    Collectively,  these  elements  are  known  as  Infratab  Freshtime®.

  • KinAptic, Inc.– a  startup  located  in  Madison,  Connecticut.    It  is  an  emerging  growth,  technology-based  company engaged  in  the  development  of  a  haptic/human  machine  interface  (HHMI)  technology.  The  KinAptic HHMI  technology  empowers  clothing  and  other  wearable  garments  with  the capability  to detect, analyze  and  appl͟y the  naturally  occurring  electrical  signals  of  the  human  body.  This technology  has applications  in  the  nascent  Wearable  and  IoT  (Internet  of  Things),  educational,  entertainment, gaming,  remote  unmanned  vehicle  control,  medical  and  military  market.

  • LG Corp.–  a South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation. It is the fourth-largest chaebolin South Korea. It is headquartered in the LG Twin Towers building in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul. LG makes electronics, chemicals, andtelecom products and operates subsidiaries.

  • Lockheed Martin Corp.– an  American  global  aerospace,  defense,  security  and  advanced technologies  company  with worldwide  interests.  It  was  formed  by  the  merger  of Lockheed  Corporation  with  Martin  Marietta  in March  1995.  It  is  headquartered  in Bethesda,  Maryland,  in  the  Washington,  DC, area.  Lockheed Martin  employs approximately  100,000  people  worldwide.  Lockheed  Martin  is  one  of  the  largest  companies  in  the aerospace,  defense,  security,  and  technologies  industry.  It  is  the  world’s  largest  defense contractor  based  on  revenue  for  fiscal  year  2014. 2017  Revenue:  US$  51.048  billion.

  • LUMII Corp.– using a proprietary terascale computation that evolved out of research at MIT, LUMII uses dynamic, three-dimensional security features and texturing from your presses, media and ink,  enhancing product security while keeping control of your process. Holographic features produced digitally by printing special Lumii-generated patterns on standard clear film, using standard 2-sided commercial presses, eliminating cost, complexity and risk from supply chains.

  • Material Impact VCs– The  Boston-based  venture  firm  is  led  by  co-founders  and  managing partners  Carmichael  Roberts,  an entrepreneur  and  former  partner  at  North  Bridge  Venture  Partners,  and  Adam  Sharkawy,  a  former executive  at  life  sciences  companies  Abbott  and  The  Medicines  Company.  The  invests  in  early-stage materials  science  companies.  2017  Budget:  $170Million.

  • Merck Ventures– the strategic, corporate venture capital arm of Merck. Its mandate is to invest in innovative technologies and products with the potential to significantly impact Merck‘s core business areas. With their headquarters in Amsterdam and offices in the US and Israel, Merck invests globally in transformational ideas driven by great entrepreneurs. Merck Ventures takes an active role in its portfolio companies and teams up with entrepreneurs and co-investors to translate innovation towards commercial success, with a significant focus on early-stage investing and company creation.

  • Milara– offers a full line of OEM mechanical and electrical services to provide our clients with single source solutions, from mechanical and electrical design concepts to cable assembly generation, circuit board fabrication and final acceptance testing.

  • Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.– a Japanese multinational engineering, electrical equipment and electronics company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. MHI’s products include aerospace components, air conditioners, aircraft, automotive components, forklift trucks, hydraulic equipment, machine tools, missiles, power generation equipment, printing machines, ships and space launch vehicles.

  • Molex Inc.–  a manufacturer of electronic, electrical and fiber optic interconnection systems.   • Moxtek– The  Moxtek  project  focuses  on  printing  Pro Flux™ nanostructures for  Polarizers  (pixelated polarizers) for  several  optical  and  display applications.

  • Nanonex Corp.– Nanonex NIL solution offers low-cost, high-throughput, large-area patterning of 3D nanostructures with sub-10 nm resolution and accurate overlay alignment. It also includes all forms of nanoimprinting, such as thermoplastic, uv-curable, thermal curable, and direct imprinting (embossing). The Nanonex NIL solution can meet the needs of a broad spectrum of markets, such as optical devices, displays, data storage, biotech, semiconductor ICs, chemical synthesis, and advanced materials.

  • NASA Goddard- The  NASA  project  focuses on providing  consultation  and  advice  on printing  Fresnel  Lens Design.  The  goal  is  the  design  of  a  Fresnel  lens that  is  feasible  with  the  nanofabrication techniques  developed  by  the  Nanomanufacturing  Center.  The  CHN  team  develop  a  set  of  requirements  for  the  Fresnel  Lens  that  can  be  useful  for  X-ray  and  Gamma  ray  astronomy. The  CHN  also  made  carbon  nanotube based  gas  sensors  for  NASA  satellites’ use.

  • NASA Headquarters– houses  the  higher-ups  responsible  for  charting  the  space  agency’s course  and  implementing  its vision.  It  oversees  activities  conducted  at  the  agency’s  10 field  centers  and  a  variety  of  installations scattered  around  the  country.  2017  Budget: NASA  received  more  than  $19.6 billion  in    omnibus spending  bill.

  • National University of Singapore (NUS)– an  autonomous  research  university  in  Singapore.   • NovaCentrix, Inc.– offers industry leading photonic curing tools, conductive inks, material and expertise enabling development and production of next generation printed electronic devices – some already on the market. PulseForge® tools utilize photonic curing which is a cutting edge technology that dries, sinters, and anneals functional inks in milliseconds on low-temperature, flexible substrates such as paper and plastic. PulseForge tools can save time and money, and enable new types of products in applications like solar, RFID, display, packaging, and circuit. Our Metalon® conductive inks capitalize on advanced materials and formulation to provide conductivity options for additive manufacturing of printed electronics with stretchable, solderable, resistive, and magnetic qualities.

  • ONSET Corp.– founded in 1981 and is based in Bourne, Massachusetts, Onset Computer Corporation designs, manufactures, and supplies data loggers. It offers data loggers, indoor and outdoor wireless sensors, web-based monitoring systems, energy monitoring systems, weather stations, time-of-use data loggers, water quality data loggers, software, sensors, and parts and accessories. The company offers its products for a range of applications, including building energy performance monitoring, water resources management, and ecological and agricultural research.

  • OptoGlo– a product development company whose products feature new means of displaying light and color. They license intellectual property and form product distribution companies with partners. OptoGlo is also a pioneer in the use of nanotechnology to produce transparent illumination and ultra-high-definition displays.

  • Peer Group, Inc.–  a  Toronto  smart  manufacturing  company  that  offers  a  large  portfolio  of factory automation  software  products  and  services  to  high-volume  manufacturers  and equipment makers  in  the  semiconductor,  photovoltaics  (PV),  and  electronics  industry  to lower  the  cost  of automation  by  solving  the  most  challenging  equipment  automation, data management,  and process  control  problems.

  • Progeny Systems Corp.– Located  in Manassas,  Virginia.  It  is  a  privately-held,  high-tech  small  business focusing  on software and  hardware  system  integration,  computer-vision  solutions,  cutting-edge  research and development,  and  manufacturing.  It  provides  premium  systems,  services,  and products for  the Department  of  Defense,  government  agencies  and  commercial  clients.

  • Rayethon: a  major  U.S.  defense  contractor  and an industrial  corporation with core  manufacturing  concentrations  in  weapons  and  military  and  commercial electronics. It  was  previously  involved  in  corporate  and  special-mission  aircraft  until  early  2007. Raytheon is  the  world’s  largest  producer  of  guided  missiles.    2017  revenues  were  $25.35 billion.  The  Raytheon  Project  focuses  on  printing  power  electronics  for  military  as  well  as  civilian applications  such  as  aerospace,  commercial,  industrial,  residential,  telecommunication, transportation,  and  utility  systems.    For  example,  printed  electronics  are  utilized for  space shuttle  power  supplies,  satellite  power  supplies,  and  aircraft  power  systems.  The  printing of such  electronics  enables  the  industry  to  print  on  any  substrate  and  avoid  costly substrates (such  as  GaN  or  GaAs  wafers),  thus  reducing  the  manufacturing  cost  by  a  factor  of  ten  or more.

  • Rogers Corp.- Designing  and  printing  the  world’s  first  printed  nano  blue  LEDs.  The  LEDs  have  been demonstrated  and  the  light  is  clearly  visible  to  the  naked  eye.

  • SABIC Detroit Automotive Center– a  global  leader  in  diversified  chemicals.  It  manufactures  on  a  global  scale  in  the  Americas,  Europe,  Middle  East  and  Asia  Pacific,  making  distinctly  different  kinds  of  products:    chemicals,  commodity  and  high  performance  plastics,  agri-nutrients  and  metals.  The  company  has  more  than  35,000  employees  worldwide  and  operates  in  more  than  50  countries. 2016  Revenues:  $35.5  billion.

  • Transient Electronics, Inc.- A  Cambridge,  MA  startup  that  makes  implanted  electronics  that  harmlessly  dissolves  in  the body  after  a  few  months.

  • ULVAC Technologies, Inc.– established in 1992 as the US subsidiary of ULVAC, Inc. Headquartered in Methuen, Massachusetts, ULVAC Technologies provides Sales and Services to all countries in Western Hemisphere.
