The Center for Research in School-based Prevention (CRISP) is located in the Department of Applied Psychology in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University (NU). C0-directed by Drs. Robert J. Volpe and Amy M. Briesch, CRISP works in close partnership with school districts in the Boston Metro Area to help schools build and sustain their capacity to support the healthy social-emotional and academic development of the students they serve.
CRISP is committed to training the next generation of school leaders to fulfill this important mission. The activities of the center are made possible by the hard work of our bright and committed students at NU. Drs. Volpe and Briesch are core members of the Doctoral and MS/CAGS programs in school psychology at NU. We welcome both graduate and undergraduate students to participate in our work.
