NORTHEASTERN’S GLOBAL COMMITMENT

Northeastern University is engaged with the world. And what better way to demonstrate our far-flung connections than to hold our first internationally located Board of Trustees meeting in London in June, coupled with our annual convening of the university’s Young Global Leaders.

Attendees enjoyed exciting presentations by top minds in business, politics, and the media. The U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, the CEO of Vivendi, a chief executive at HSBC, and a member of Parliament all gave scintillating talks, punctuated by a lively visit to Abbey Road Studios. This website captures the week’s highlights in photos and videos, and serves as a great refresher for both those who were there and those who missed the robust programming

A STRONG SHOWING OF YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS

The impressive attendance by Northeastern’s Young Global Leaders was surpassed only by their generous giving. The group of 90 young alums made a gift to the Presidential Global Scholars Program that totaled just under $170,000 during the event.
