LEAD 360 builds on the idea that everyone has the capacity to lead. LEAD 360 believes that leadership is dimensional and is gained through every experience a person has. The research a student conducts, the co-op position a student holds, the cultures a student learns about while studying abroad, the service a student provides for the community, and the club sport in which a student is involved, have all added to one being a leader. In simple words, LEAD 360 believes in the philosophy that leadership is holistic.

 

The model

The model above is the model for LEAD 360. In the center, you see LEAD 360. In the immediate outer circle, or the outer black circle, are the people and the organizations which assist students in their development. The next outer circle, or the red circle, are the experiences a student has and thus gains leadership experiences. The most exterior circle, or the blue circle, are the outcomes or the skills a student gains from these experiences.
