Required Materials
The following list represents general requirements for all students. See high school students, transfer students, and international students for additional specific requirements.
- Completed on-line Common Application and Northeastern University Supplement
- $70 application fee
- Secondary school transcripts including senior-year first quarter and midterm grades when available
- Official SAT or ACT results
- Guidance counselor recommendation (also referred to as Secondary School Report) and high school transcript can be submitted on-line through the Common Application. Instructions are on the Common Application website.
- Teacher recommendation can be submitted on-line through the Common Application. Instructions are on the Common Application website.
- Portfolio
- Declaration of Finances form (international students only)
- English-language proficiency test results, such as TOEFL or ELPT required (only for U.S. and non-U.S. citizens whose native language is not English or who were not instructed in English)
- Transcripts from any college-level course work
