Bubble Tea Time

Bubble Tea Time is a discussion series that focuses on topics relevant to the Asian American community and provide an opportunity for informal conversation between students who are interested in issues related to identity, history, media, and other topics.

Date: Thursday, Nov. 19
Time: 6:00-7:30pm
Location: AAC Multipurpose Room

This month's topic: Stereotypes

Share and reflect on your personal experiences with stereotypes, gain awareness of how Asian Americans are stereotyped in the media and society, and begin to think about how to become an active voice in dispelling these stereotypes in your community.

First come, first serve. 20 people maximum.

Join us for another special Bubble Tea Time for University STAFF members. Enjoy bubble tea while reading, discussing and learning about Asian American college students and some of the unique experiences of this population.

RSVP is required by Monday, November 16. Please email Delia Cheung Hom at delia@neu.edu with your name and department. We will send all participants two short articles to read before Bubble Tea Time.
